Opening of Parking Gernsback on May 3th

The new car park located on the upper floors of the  Luxexpo interchange's bus station is now open to the public.

The Fonds Kirchberg has just completed the construction of a five-storey car park above the bus station of the mobility hub LuxExp, which marks the entrance to the city for motorists coming from the A1. Operated by Indigo Park Luxembourg, the car park can accommodate up to 595 cars. It has 16 charging stations for electric vehicles and 15 spaces reserved for users with reduced mobility. The car park is open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week for short and long term parking as well as for subscription. Users will have to pay 1.40 euros/hour for the first 4 hours of parking. From the fifth hour onwards, a flat rate of 5 euros will be charged for a maximum of 24 hours.

This P+R is part of the multimodal concept, offering motorists the possibility of continuing their journey by bus, tram or bicycle. Directly connected to the network of cycle paths, the forecourt of the buildinh will soon host a vel'OH! electric bike rental station and an mBox garage for cyclists who want to leave their bikes in a safe place.

Accessory services will make commuting more pleasant: public toilets are located in the basement, two small shops will offer the possibility of refuelling or consuming drinks and snacks on the spot. An S-Bank automatic teller and a PackUp station for receiving parcels will soon complete the offe
