Skulptur ohne Titel – Variationen zum Thema Bildstock Ulrich Rückriem

Along the paths of Parc Réimerwee, you can see four stone slabs paying tribute to the milestones of classical times Skulptur ohne Titel – Variationen zum Thema Bildstock (1993) by the German minimalist sculptor Ulrich Rückriem. Born in 1938, he was firstly a stones mason, and now cuts and then rebuilds blocks of Dolomite stone. The stone slabs of the Parc Réimerwee are typical of this process and incorporate recesses as if for votive lights.

Two sculptures are on permanent loan from the art collection of HypoVereinsbank - Member of UniCredit.
