Réimerwee Ensemble 4

Two lots, one signature

Stone façades with large glazed surfaces for light-filled spaces, and a pleasant living environment with generous landscaped spaces: Ensemble 4 offers architectural quality, at an affordable price.

The project, designed by PetitdidierPrioux Architectes (France) and comprising two lots, is based on a construction principle of load-bearing columns and separated thick slabs, without beams, allowing for free partitioning around central nodes which bring together the wet rooms (kitchen, bathroom).

The advantages are:

  • The proposed mode of construction is minimised in the budget envelope.
  • The offer of type of accommodation is expanded, since it is not dependent on load-bearing walls,
  • The internal layout of the apartments is optimised.

The two buildings are of equal height (ground floor + four upper levels), and are given a similar treatment in terms of their general appearance: the fourth upper level is set back.

The difference comes from their orientation – at right-angles to Boulevard Konrad Adenauer for Lot 19 and parallel to Allée des Poiriers for Lot 18, with south-facing balconies and terraces for Lot 18, and west-facing for Lot 19.

The aspect of the east (Lot 18) and north (Lot 19) façades is characterised by light-coloured brick, arranged in horizontal tiers for the opaque sections, with full-height windows with wooden frames and a glass and stainless steel parapet (bedrooms), and full-height glazing for the stairwells.

The south (Lot 18) and west (Lot 19) façades are clad in brushed aluminium, with full-height glazing with wooden frames and a glass and stainless steel parapet (living room), dividing walls separating the terraces between apartments in open brickwork, with the terrace flooring in oiled oak.

The call for applications for these affordable homes has closed.
